Pp Charlie Beach Resort - Phi Phi Don

The location right on the beach allowed for easy access to the vibrant nightlife, while the lovely pool area offered the perfect retreat.

Some staff could be rude.

The area is chic, the pool overlooking the ocean, breakfasts are just great.

No noise insulation, the mattresses are terrible.

In the middle of things.

it was noisy, music until 2:30 a. m., stay awake.

The breakfast offered various delicious options daily.

The loud music from nearby clubs distorted our relaxation time and made sleeping difficult until the early hours. The cleanliness of our room left much to be desired, as there were grime and dirt on the surfaces, disappointing for the price we paid.

Close to the beach, not far from the pier (walking distance), near the night life.

in some area of the hotel you will hear the music from the bar around there.

We stayed here before and decided to go back to phi phi. We liked the location but not the resort so we compromised. The room was a bigger and better than last time although last time we requested the superior room and this time we requested the economy standard.

The staff were slow and was a bit annoyed at having to pay before we stay. Also I emailed them and they never wrote back. When we arrived at the room the safe, remote control and air con was broken. Although the staff did fix the safe and remote he tried to convince us that all air cons are set to a 24c and can't be moved and therefore didnt fix it. The wifi only works in reception.... And only sometimes worked.... Rarely. There was a bonfire lit outside our room. There was building going on very early.... I stayed here 3 years ago and have seen no changes to the building apart from the bungalows, but some how there is c

Amazing beachside breakfast!

It was fairly clean with really friendly and amicable staff on the reception desk. The breakfast had good choice of outstanding food and drinks.

The rooms were quite outdated and on the small side for the price!!! Noise from the karaoke bar and dance club made it hard to sleep soundly. Some amenities, like poolside chair access, felt restricted!!!

The infinity pool was slightly nice, but the service was utterly lacking, not one person came to check on me. The standard room was a nightmare, with a dirty toilet and broken tv. Honestly, for the price I paid, I expected a complimentary upgrade or some sort of gesture. I just couldn't give a good review here.

Breakfast is the only benefit of this.

The stay at this hotel was the worst experience of out Thai trip. 1. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Check-in process took about 40 minutes. 2. The bed linen was dirty and stained. We asked staff to change it and they did twice - to another one with stains. 3. The guests of this hotel are considered to be pigs by default. The is large price list (about 40 variants) at the room's wall describing how much it costs to urinate, to vomit, to shit, to blood on the towel, bed, pillow - etc etc. And they still dare to lay stained bed linen!!! 4. The superior room we booked was actually the small room with dirty walls, old furniture and half-working aircon. So, there was no difference between superior and standard. 5. The hotel's building is situated at the noisy street with lot of bars. Forget about sleeping till 3 a.m. And the cleaning staff starts working since 7 a.m. and they are very loud with their walky-talky radios. 6. The photos at hotel's page at Booked.net do not relate to this hotel - these are photos of nearby Princess resort. 7. The hotel's location at the map at Booked.net is wrong. It is not located at Long beach and in fact it is situated at the other part of island. Hope Booked.net team fix it soon. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. It is too overpriced - there are a lot of low-budget guest houses nearby with the same conditions.

We were a little bit late, so they gave away our booking for a nice room and left us with a severely inferior room in a building 100m or so from the beach. Photos do not represent real conditions. Cleaning staff were very noisy from 7am onwards

The pool views are amazing 🌅 The breakfast buffet had so many options, but the tiny room was a letdown. Noise from the street was pretty loud too. It was still a decent stay!

It's close to the bars in phi phi and is on the beach, although there are other beaches within walking distance of the hotel so that's not a big selling point. But overall location is good. The pizza stand across from reception has the best pizza slices in town.

No hot water for the 3 days we were there. Kept asking the front desk who kept saying they were looking into it, heard other guest make same complaint so wasn't just our room. Wifi is only in reception. Lastly, the staff downstairs were really nice once you got their attention, but half the time you could sit there for ages waiting for one to notice you, even though they didn't seem busy at all, which was pretty strange.
